If you are a tea aficionado and like to have your loose-leaf tea on the go - or you know someone who fits this description - this is a great item. Hot water and tea go in the larger double-walled glass bottle where the steeping occurs. The lid serves as a nice "tea cup" in which you pour the tea through the strainer to get a nice cuppa. The single drawback is that the leaves are not separable so you either have to fish them out when the tea is steeped or deal with an increasingly bitter beverage. With that issue in mind, you can use this item to drink "all day" tea like a flowering tea. Alternatively, you can put the loose tea in the cup, fill the larger container with hot water, seal the unit, reverse it so the leaves are on the bottom and the hot water seeps in, let it steep, flip it over again, loosen the top a smidge to unseal the vacuum and let the water drip back into the larger container and - boom - leaves in cup for disposal, tea in double-walled container for delight.
Easy to clean. No leaks so far. Closes tightly. Makes good diffused tea. Giftable and cute
I love this tea diffuser in the top of the water bottle! So handy and makes it easy to have my favorite tea anywhere. The bottle has a great little carrying strap. Perfect to take to ballgames, the gym or even for a walk. A great invention for those of us who are on the go!
I love using glass. This doesn't have the weird aftertaste that plastic has. This is nice to watch, I promise. You cannot put too hot of water in this, but it does leaves and bags. I cut the string off mine. This is a lovely little piece for people who love teapots. It's like a mini on-the-go that gets you up close and personal. I love it, and it is worth it. I would give it as a gift.
